Sleep Talking

Okay, no surprise I haven't been sleeping well lately. And it seems like when I do fall asleep I crash really hard but for short periods of time. But here's the kicker...I seem to be starting to talk in my sleep because a few times I have awakened talking [img]eek.gif[/img] . Okay...I have never done that before. Not as a child...nothing. I have a LOT of stuff going on right now in several parts of my life...but talking in my sleep?!?!? WTF!!! [img]eek.gif[/img]

Isn't it great when you wake up cause you talk so loud? Happens to me all the time and what's even worse, I get so loud that I sometimes even wake my daughters thru closed doors,...

To the best of my knowledge I don't talk in my sleep, But my wife has bad dreams a lot and will start moaning & mumbling, but the worst part is when she hits me (I think its unintentional), and when I wake her up she hardly ever remembers what was happing only something scared her.

Since Her middle daughter has moved in with us, neither one of us is getting a good night sleep, we seem to sleep in segments of 30 minutes to about an hour & half at a time. (can't wait til shes gone!)

My daughters say that I always sound angry when I talk in my sleep. Maybe I am just releasing some tension, eh?

As far as I know the only time I've really talked in my sleep was when I was sick and had a high fever...but I know a few people who talk in their sleep, including my sister...When we were younger I actually carried on short, comical conversations with her while she was sleeping*LOL*

My children talk in their sleep sometimes too.

I carried on a short rather amusing conversation with an ex of mine...LOL. My sister talked in her sleep a few times when she was younger. I never have until now. A friend of mine says it is probably all the stress I have been under and the lack of sleep I have been getting. I kind of hope that is the case. It is kind of alarming when you wake up talking to yourself...although I am not so sure I would feel much better if I had company and awakened the guy in bed with me up....lmao. [img]eek.gif[/img]

I can carry a conversation in my sleep I hear but usually gets me in trouble because say things wouldnt normally let out awake... They say if you can get someone to talk to you while sleeping they cant lie. Also when I was younger i used to sleepwalk. Once I was at my grandmothers house and ended up outside of the house and in the woods behind her house. Talk about waking up a confused scared boy lol.
